Muckraker is an independent publication launched in October 2025 by Anas Ambri. It is inspired by 20th century American muckraker journalists, who aimed to expose corruption and wrongdoing. The term is reportedly a reference to the Man with a Muck Rake, a character from a 1678 book who refused to exchange his muckrake for a crown.

Muckraker is bound by the Global Charter of Ethics for Journalists.
