Muckraker is an independent publication launched in October 2025 by Anas Ambri. It is inspired by American muckraker journalists, from the turn of the 20th century, who aimed to expose corruption and wrongdoing. The term is reportedly a reference to the Man with a Muck Rake, a character featured in a 1678 book who refused to exchange his muckrake for a celestial crown.
